Inspired by Art Gensler’s vision of design and innovation, we curated a series of artworks for the Gensler Mumbai office, blending contemporary ideas with Indian heritage.
The ART Qaalen – A large-scale handwoven textile featuring a stylized portrait of Art Gensler, created with traditional handloom weavers.
The Harbour – A 3D origami boat installation inspired by Mumbai’s fishing harbours, waterfronts and urban rhythm.
Mumbai Ecoscape – A sculptural installation of origami flamingos celebrating Mumbai’s wetlands, mangroves and coastal ecosystem.
Traditional Jharokha – A carved Newari wooden artefact showcasing traditional geometry, floral motifs and cultural heritage.
